Audio Tag Manager was made for users who need a simple way to repair and organize audio metadata. Typical use cases include fixing “Unknown Artist” files, completing missing album information, adding cover images, cleaning inconsistent tag text, and renaming audio files into a readable structure.
The program supports MP3, FLAC, OGG, APE, M4A, WMA, and WAV and includes editing for both standard and extended tag fields. Users can work with title, artist, album, album artist, year, track, genre, comment, disc number, BPM, composer, original artist, copyright, URL, encoded-by data, lyrics, and embedded cover art.
Audio Tag Manager also includes two workflow features that may be interesting for your readers. First, Auto-Tag can search MusicBrainz and let users choose a matching online result before updating metadata. Second, the preset system allows repeated cleanup actions to be saved and reused, including trimming spaces, title case conversion, text replacement, and other tag formatting operations.
The software also includes folder scanning, subfolder support, file filtering, batch editing, tag-based batch renaming, cover loading and clearing, tag removal, undo support, and basic file operations such as copy, move, delete, rename, and create folder.
